Saint Arnolds Brewery Houston
The Saint Arnolds Brewery is the oldest craft brewery in Texas. It's named after Saint Arnold of Metz a patron saint in brewing. It was founded by two former students of Rice University; Kevin Bartol and Brock Wagner. It's located on 2522 Fairway Park Drive. Some of the hotels in Houston close-by include the Homewood Suites.
The Brewery Tours
The brewery offers public tours every Saturday at 1.00 pm at a cost of $5.00. No reservation is required for the tour. Some lucky attendees get to taste some of their brands. The tours attract huge numbers of visitors with some who come from outside the city getting accommodation at the hotels.
